Monthly plans give families the best ongoing value and reserve the child’s regular place. Fees are divided into Under 3 and Age 3+.

Our most flexible regular plan.

Age categories: Under 3 = 18 months to under 3 years. Age 3+ = age 3 through elementary-school entry. Fee-tier changes are handled according to the enrollment agreement rather than being changed informally mid-month.

What you pay when regular enrollment begins

For new regular enrollment, the first payment is the selected monthly tuition plus the one-time enrollment fee and the annual materials / English program fee.

Temporary Childcare

Flexible care when you need it

Temporary childcare is available by advance reservation and is subject to availability, safe staffing, complete child/emergency information, and the child’s health condition on the day. The 1-hour fee begins at ¥1,300.

Temporary-care cancellation

By the end of the previous business day: no childcare cancellation charge.
Same-day cancellation: 50% of the reserved childcare fee.
No notice / no-show: 100% of the reserved childcare fee.
An ordered lunch may still be charged if the supplier has already charged MET-EIS.

Used diapers will be returned to parents at pick-up for disposal at home. Please provide a plastic bag for storing and taking home used diapers.

Early / Late Care

Approved early care: ¥300 / started 15 min
Unannounced early / late: ¥500 / started 15 min
After 18:00: additional ¥1,000 / started 15 min

Extensions are subject to staffing and approval. The included handover window is not scheduled extra childcare.

Enrollment

A simple, step-by-step enrollment process

We want families to know what happens before the first day. Enrollment is confirmed only after the required information is sufficiently complete and MET-EIS can safely accept the requested care schedule.

STEP 01

Inquiry & Visit

Tell us your child’s age, preferred schedule, and desired start date. Visit the school if arranged.

STEP 02

Choose a Plan

Choose regular monthly care or temporary care. We confirm the correct age fee tier and current availability.

STEP 03

Receive the Enrollment Pack

We explain the required forms, conditional documents, payment method, parent supplies, and important policies.

STEP 04

Submit Child, Health & Consent Information

Return the child record, emergency contacts, health/food information, agreements, consents, and other applicable documents.

STEP 05

Agreement & Billing Setup

Review and sign the service agreement and fee memorandum, then complete the agreed payment setup.

STEP 06

Final Confirmation & Orientation

MET-EIS confirms capacity, staffing, safety information, start date, supplies, arrival/pick-up and daily routines.

STEP 07

Start Care

Bring your child and required supplies, hand your child directly to staff, and begin the confirmed program.

Important Fee Policies

Before you enroll, please know these rules

Monthly Payment

Monthly tuition is paid in advance by the 1st of each month. The fee secures your child’s regular place in the program for that month.

Absences

Ordinary absence, family travel, and short-term illness are not normally prorated. Missed days do not automatically transfer to another day.

Program Changes

Changes are subject to availability, safe staffing and approval. The new rate applies from the approved effective date.

Withdrawal

Withdrawal requires written notice according to the signed enrollment agreement. MET-EIS will confirm the final care date and final account.

Childcare-Fee Support

MET-EIS 保育園 is currently not eligible for the 無償化 (mushōka) program. Families are responsible for the childcare fees shown on this page. Any separate government or municipal support should be confirmed directly with the relevant authority.

Acceptance

Regular and temporary care are accepted only when capacity, staffing, health/safety information and required documents are sufficient for safe care.
